October 12th, 2007 – Mr Pierre Patenaude, Oceatec president, gave a presentation at the 2nd Acadian Peninsula Food Processing Conference, in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, Canada. That conference was organised by the Atlantic Food & Beverage Processors Association. Mr Patenaude made a presentation on Equipment Automation where, amongst other topics, he presented major issues in innovation and future trends in technology. May 4th, 2004 – Oceatec won the 6th local edition of the Concours québécois en entrepreneurship (Quebec Entrepreneurship Contest) for the Montmagny-L’Islet, Bellechase region in the Business Start-up – Technical and Technological Innovation category. A certificate of excellence was awarded to Mr Pierre Patenaude, Oceatec president, by Mr Luc Paris, Paper Aluminium Technologie de Moulage president and contest honorary president.
